Continue to Build Business Literacy and Overall Skill Competency

Business literacy (referenced in Skills for Effectiveness in the New Environment) is a term used to describe people's knowledge of how the business of their organization works.  Non-managers generally have very low levels of business literacy.

  • They don’t prepare budgets or see monthly budget reports so they don’t know how resources are allocated and spent.
