How Do I Get People to Own the Change?

“Change imposed is change opposed” goes an insightful saying.  The best outcome of any organizational change is for it to be fully internalized and acted on by those doing the work.  In order for change to become internalized, it must be owned and for change to be owned, those being impacted must have an important role in creating it.  Meaningful engagement is the key to getting people to make and own the change.
